Most of you have heard of Sark, a wonderful gal that shares the positive, empowerment, and just plain good stuff. I've been reading her work for years. A friends posted this YouTube video on Facebook and I watched it, once again amazed by how this woman can inspire me. So... I'm sharing it here. ReplyDeleteThank you so much for turning me on to her! She is just what i need right now! I love that a larger woman is shown to be in such a positive and powerful light. I have never been a skinny girl ( I'd have had to cut body parts off for that to be so!) and have struggled all of my life with the ingrained propaganda that anyone not thin is "out of control", "Unhealthy", "Can't be happy like that" etc. Even though no one else sees me as a fat girl, It has always been a major issue for me and has affected me severely, but I am now more than willing to stop beating my healthy and wonderful self up and move forward into creativity and joy!
